The medical complex in Almaty is conceived not as a closed institution, but as an open urban system in which technology, human dignity, and planted public spaces work together.
The programme combines a women's health clinic, paediatrics, physiotherapy, a minor operating theatre, a laboratory, and a diagnostic centre. The spatial structure separates patient, staff, and service flows, reducing conflicts and shortening visit times.
A central atrium, winter gardens, generous waiting areas, and planted terraces change the familiar perception of public healthcare. A digital twin, shared database, telemedicine, and electronic queue connect the architectural model with the building's future operation.
