Competition concept

The pedestrian bridge across the Ural is conceived as a space of metamorphosis: movement changes the perception of city, nature, and self while connecting Atyrau's residential and industrial banks.

Architecture, light, and material gradually shift from a soft natural environment towards a more rigorous engineering aesthetic. Transit becomes a sequential experience of water, wind, sound, and urban horizon.

The central cocoon platform refers to the rare Panopa blue butterfly, threatened by human pressure. The infrastructure therefore connects the banks while making regional biodiversity part of the city's identity.
